Thread: Question..

I am currently 37 weeks & 3 days pregnant with my first child. I went to my babys appointment this morning & my obygn checked my cervix and told me I am 2 cm dilated & I forgot to tell her I went to the hospital 2 days ago because I was worried I had leaked amniotic fluid but thankfully I hadn't & while I was in the hospital the nurse there checked my cervix & told me I was no where near being dilated. So my question is, is this normal to all of a sudden dilate so suddenly?

Well when I went into the hospital & the nurse there checked me she did a test and she said I wasn't leaking amniotic fluid & that it was most likely urine. I just wanna know if it is normal to dilate so quickly cuz 2 days ago I wasn't dilated or anything.
