    Pregnancy exercises

    Hi all mommas! What pregnancy exercises are you utilizing now? How did you feel while doing them? I believe pregnancy exercises should be done to help ease labor and delivery. During my time, I did squatting and kegels. And a lot of walking too, at least in the mall, shopping or window shopping. And of course it was really effective, only had an hour of labor and gave birth right away!

    I'm a huge believer that working out in your pregnancy makes labor and recovery so much easier. I exercised during my first pregnancy, and not in the second pregnancy. HUGE DIFFERENCE!

    Yes! I believe more effort should be exerted during your first pregnancy because it's your body's first time to experience something new than in the second wherein it has somehow adapted already.

    During labor and delivery, exercise improves blood circulation to deliver nutrients and oxygen even more better to baby and of course, it is important too even during the postpartum period to shed off some fats acquired during pregnancy and get back to your pre pregnancy body.

    While pregnant I used to swim 3 times a week and walk almost every day...

    This thread is very helpful for giving knowledge about the exercise, Because the selection of the
    exercise in this condition is very tough but this thread did great work.

    Hi Atwater, thank you for appreciating this thread. Pregnancy and post pregnancy exercise is just really important for all of us mothers, because it is not only beneficial for us but also for the baby. :-)

    You should do light exercises in this period for at least 20 minutes daily.
    In my opinion walking, jogging, and yoga are best exercise for you.
    Yoga is more effective for the pregnant women.
