Hi! I'm not pretty sure about it, I strongly suggest you go to your OB and have yourself checked. Usually early in the pregnancy, implantation happens wherein the embryo attaches to the placenta which could cause a minor bleeding, somewhat a light pink/red or brown discharge but it doesn't last for many days. Please have yourself checked for safety purposes. God bless.

Hi, I know that we all think that blood during pregnancy is deadly and that it means miscarriage, but NOT always.
My sister had some light bleeding during her pregnancy, it was actually off and on. Right now she is the mother to a beautiful little one and a half year old boy.
So, that pregnancy did continue. And I am pretty sure that urs will too!

Breakthrough bleeding can be totally normal during a pregnancy, although it's best to check with your doctor just in case. No need to fret over the brown color in particular; that just signifies old or dried blood.

I agree that it could be nothing. Especially that early, it could be the breakthrough bleeding someone else mentioned. I think maybe that happens sometimes when your hormones just haven't built up enough to completely shut down your period yet. On the other hand, you can having light bleeding for some time before the miscarriage occurs. If you start feeling cramping with the bleeding, it would be a concern. Cramping by itself is not.

    I hope everything is okay!

Every pregnancy is different and some women do spot throughout their pregnancy. If you think it is something worse you should call the doctor. Being worried over it and stressing is not good at all for your pregnancy.

So many symptoms, like spotting, can be totally normal and can be the sign of a big problem and it's frustrating because you don't know which is which. I spotted when I was 11 weeks pregnant with my first and freaked out but it turned out to be nothing.
