Thread: Finally overcame our problems

My husband and I had problems getting pregnant. He had slow swimmers and so we started looking into ways to get past it. I did a home insemination and wam-o we got pregnant.

Experiencing infertility is like living through all the stages of grief, over and over. I have a sister (and my best friend) who struggled for years with infertility, and I felt so helpless to stand by...without any means to help her. Thankfully, she now has a 2 year old, and is beginning her cycle of infertility pain once again. She would love a sibling for her little boy, and hopefully she gets her wish soon. How far along are you?

I've not heard of the home insemination that you speak of. Can you give me some more information about it? I don't know that we have the same problems that you're having, but we're going to be checking into these things soon enough.

Also curious about this home insemination, is it like intrauterine insemination (IUI), I didn't know it was possible to do it at home. If you don't mind me asking, how long were you trying to conceive?
