    Pregnancy Stretch Marks

Stretch marks can appear anywhere, abdomen, arms, legs, breast, hips, thighs etc. Any woman can get stretch marks on her body during her pregnancy. It has been seen that 60-90% women develop this problem in their pregnancy. In your pregnancy, you are bound to gain weight, this causes the skin to stretch beyond its natural elasticity. This is how stretch marks appear. After pregnancy, the skin reverts back to its original shape and stretch marks take the shape of flattened scars.

Does any one have any 'miracle' cures that will help alleviate the severity of stretch marks? I've heard Cocoa Butter, then was told it didn't work. Any others?

Cocoa butter is a widely used remedy for reducing stretch marks. It is being used by many and also found in lots of anti-stretch mark products. The extracts from the cocoa butter penetrates into the skin. As it reaches the dermal layer, it will repair any imperfections that the skin has; and one is stretch mark.

Which are the best creams to use during pregnancy in order to prevent stretch marks? And, should it be use the same one for the 9 months of pregnancy, or it's better to use a different one each trimester?

I've heard of Elemis. They say it's a very good one. But also Palmers Cocoa Butter is a very good lotion. I was wondering how can I get lotion that has the maximum % of cocoa butter???
