Thread: How soon can one get am ultrasound

Hello,
Just curios how soonest one can get an ultra sound done any ideas?

What is the ultrasound for? I had my UTZ (ultrasound) at 8 weeks to check if the baby is okay. In the earlier stage of pregnancy I believe UTZ is done to check the baby and the rest of the trimester is for the gender identification and again to check the well being of the baby.

I recieved my first ultrasound when I was 6 weeks 2 days pregnant. My lil guy was a size of a grain of rice at the time. Sooo tiny! Some obygns are different. I have heard of some girls not getting their sonograms every time they go but I have :] lucky me!

I just got my first ultrasound done and I was 6 weeks 1 day. I got to see the heart beat and she even let me hear it. It was very cool. She told me the baby was about 1/2 cm.
