Thread: Gender of the baby and superstitious beliefs

Anybody in here who has experienced severe pregnancy symptoms during the first trimester? And who didn't? Because according to old people especially that if you are having a baby boy, your pregnancy symptoms are the worse and could exceed the first trimester. But if you are having a baby girl, they say you don't have any complaints at all. Do you believe in them? What do you think?

Lol! you said it all superstitions, a friend of mine is pregnant with a boy due July 3, 2011, she doesnt have any sickness whatsoever, i dont believe that is true

I have had 3 children and was not sick with any of them and I had two girls and a boy .....

Really? Yeah I believe it all depends with every pregnant woman. Everyone is unique and the gender should not be based on pregnancy symptoms.

What I know is that if you are having a baby girl...you will experience sickness unpredictably...it can go on the whole day. But if its a boy...you seldom feel nausea or vomitting.
