3 days ago at 5 weeks 3 days along i went to the er for cramping w/no bleeding and bloodwork came back with hcg levels at 15000. double What it should be but no fetal pole or yolk sac in u/s. So they assume its abnormal. I got more blood work yesterday and hcg went up to 25000 at 5w 5d and progesterone at 19(20 is perfect) so by my blood everything say im doing great with no chance of ectopic. I have been informed that with twins (very common in my family) your hcg would be double and wont see the babies that early. The dr wants to do a d&c without giving it time. has anyone else gone through this or have any advice?
